I'm nine months pregnant when I decide to walk four days to escape my captor and save my baby. The only place I know to go is home, and what I encounter there might be worse than what I've run from. But it turns out, my childhood home is empty, and I'm rescued by a man I haven't seen in over a decade, a man who brings me to his cabin and claims me and my baby as his own.
