Abacus training institutes are nowadays very popular throughout the world among the young children for faster mathematical calculations. But they often lack an efficient management system and generally managed manually. With the advancement of technology and increased use of computers, it becomes inevitable to adopt for an advanced management system for such institutions also. The aim of the present book is to provide the basic knowledge of preparing a software program for Abacus Training Institutes. The objective of developing such a management system is to reduce the paper work and also to save the time in institute management, thereby increasing the efficiency as well. In this program, Visual Basic 6.0 has been used as front end programming language and SQL - Server 2000, i.e. an RDBMS package as back end tool for managing the database as this allows managing the database very efficiently and controls data redundancy and inconsistency. The book is based on a real world problem of such an Abacus training institute, named MPC Mind Power Classes, Jodhpur India, a franchisee of VABRI MATH.
