The writer then proceeded to discuss the major probability distributions and their usefulness in Applied Statistics, before he connected them to Chi-Square tests of association and goodness of fit.The textbook then went further to consider Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and its applicability to Business and Economics, ANOVA models before it ended by looking at Time Series and Forecasting and Non-parametric Statistical tests. The book is therefore intended to enhance the practical orientation that Applied Statistics could bring to commercial degrees in universities, in a world of unpredictable variations in forms of technical advancements and innovations. The writer has a strong conviction that students who are going to have modules in Applied Statistics at undergraduate level, are going to benefit a lot from the use of the textbook.
