Description

Gerbera is very popular and widely used as a decorative garden plant or cut flowers. It is being considered as one of the most important ornamental plants with huge local and foreign demands. Conventional propagation techniques is really not possible to fulfill the requirements of both local and foreign demands. So mass production of Gerbera using biotechnological methods could be acted as a new dimension in the field of horticulture which would be helpful for the boosting of country economy.
