Description

The galaxy is a graveyard, and Drex is its premier scavenger.
Captain Drex and the ragtag crew of the Vultures' Grace have made a living by stealing from the worst corners of the universe. But their latest "liberation"—a mysterious, pulsing black cube—has brought a Sector 7 pirate frigate screaming out of FTL behind them. Outgunned and venting oxygen, they are forced into a suicidal crash-landing on the frozen, war-torn world of Xyerces.
They thought the crash would be their biggest problem. They were wrong.
Xyerces is a planet haunted by the Blood Legionnaires—a literal army of the undead driven by a hive-mind virus—and a spectral tyrant known as Meskil. As a 72-hour "Longest Night" falls over the planet, Drex's crew must forge an uneasy alliance with Commander Kaelin Vex and her ragged band of survivors.
To escape, they must fight through a landscape of "Bear-Pythons" and shadow-corrupted soldiers to reclaim the skies. But the cube Drex stole holds a secret far greater than mere credits: the coordinates to the galaxy's last untouched paradise. In a universe governed by greed and rot, Drex must decide if he's still the thief who ran away, or the leader who will hold the line.
The darkness is an equalizer. But on Xyerces, the dark is hungry.
