To stop the town from being swallowed by the rising shadows, Maya and Elias must descend into the Resonator Chamber, a sub-basement level that hasn't been opened in a thousand years. There, they encounter the Architect, a celestial metahuman entity that demands a "Void Note" to stabilize the bleeding Nexus.

The stakes have shifted:

Maya must transition from a survivor to a guardian, learning to play the "Broken Chord"—a frequency fueled by raw emotion that can disrupt even the most powerful paranormal entities.

As the townspeople of Oakhaven begin to exhibit strange, new metahuman abilities triggered by the Nexus's leak, Maya, Phoebe and Elias realize they can no longer fight this war alone. They must find other "Sensitives" and build an orchestra of hunters to protect Blackstone from the symphony of horrors they've unleashed.
