Like the onnis series Paxcom had to relaunch the entire line with an onnis one adaptor because everyone who had the original then bought the oh two near rioted the manufacturers out of their warehouse because you can't port your Craxcomp two thousand isle into the version that came with the oh two-"

[Looks self-consciously around]

"Tangental. First contact — cake, fireworks, remembering the birth of modern justice, happens every year July. Yef-p."

[Clears throat]

"Yep. May I go now? Thank you."

[Salutes then scurries away]

This is a story that takes place in a universe where Earth is a part of the Golgo'tha Alliance, a federation of hundreds of planets united by one objective — bringing an end to the viral threat of the persistant galaxy-wide pandemic known as the urcnu.

All G.A. Officers on Earth swear to that mission but it is those in the Earth-Golgo'tha Unit — spacies to most — who specifically train to uphold it. It is due to that specialization that spacies are their own type of Officer. It is their unconventional path that allows them the 'other' perspective to do what needs doing — be that enforcing a quarantine or voting for the good of the Unit over the good of the Officer.

It is by that very objective nature that every new recruit to their ranks aspires to make a difference, but also just to fit in — everyone wants to hear they measure up.
