English summary: The Error in Foreign Trade Criminal Law This work deals with the controversial question of the treatment of error in criminal economic law in relation to unlawful acts that are accessory to administrative or Union law. The insights gained from the investigation are applied to the special subject of foreign trade criminal law. Misconceptions about the existence of the legal norm that fills the blanket and about the need for authorisation of an action are not to be treated as errors about the facts of the offence, but as errors about prohibition. German description: Obwohl sich bereits zahlreiche Autoren mit dem Irrtum uber verwaltungs- bzw. unionsrechtsakzessorische Blanketttatbestande im Wirtschaftsstrafrecht befasst haben, ist die damit verbundene strafrechtsdogmatische Problematik keineswegs erschopfend ausgeleuchtet. Die Arbeit bereitet die in vielen Details umstrittene Frage bei der Behandlung des Irrtums im Anwendungsbereich der Blanketttatbestande auf. Die hierbei gewonnenen Erkenntnisse werden auf die rechtswissenschaftlich bislang nur wenig bearbeitete Spezialmaterie des Aussenwirtschaftsstrafrechts ubertragen. Die von weiten Teilen der Literatur vertretenen irrtumsdogmatischen Konstruktionen nahern sich bedenklich weit der uberkommenen Vorsatztheorie an. Fehlvorstellungen uber die Existenz der blankettausfullenden Norm und der Irrtum uber die Genehmigungsbedurftigkeit einer Handlung sind deshalb nicht als Tatumstandsirrtum, sondern nach den Regeln des Verbotsirrtums zu behandeln.Die Arbeit wurde ausgezeichnet mit dem Preis der Reinhold-und-Maria-Teufel Stiftung fur herausragende Dissertationen 2023.
