Dr. Liam Pawsner is everything Bella shouldn't want: rigid, rule-following, and allergic to chaos. He keeps his life as sterile as his veterinary clinic and his emotions locked behind a lattice wall of composure. Yet, when Bella's world starts to crumble and the "For Sale" sign goes up, it's not the flashy real estate agent Mark "The Shark" Miller who steps up—it's the grumpy vet next door.
