The study on doctor-patient communication and patient satisfaction has been attracting an increasing amount of attention within health care studies and health communication field over the years. As we know, doctor-patient communication has been studied extensively by scholars from diverse disciplines; however, it is very important to take the cultural perspective into doctor-patient communication research. This book explores different communication styles in different cultures and how it relates to patient satisfaction.
