Description

In the quaint Village of Side Streets, Doggie sits in the doorway of #1 Corrugated Box and welcomes the rising sun with three quick blinks of his eyelids, and sniffs the air for the scent of something good for breakfast when a wind out of the east carries the scent of bacon and the promise of a very good day.

Doggie knows from experience the tradeoff that will earn him a nice, warm breakfast to fill his hungry tummy; Doggie will fetch the morning newspaper and bring it to kind people who will give Doggie breakfast in return.

So, with his mind made up, he rises to his tallest self and shakes out the flat spot of his furry coat that he slept on through the night while curling up in a ball against the north wall of #1 Corrugated Box.

And so Doggie's great adventure begins!
