In the not too distant future the world looks much like it does now. Technology advanced at a rapid pace with few able to keep up with the changes. Through leaps and bounds those who failed to keep up were left behind.
Tyrel Janks and his Partner Jessica Smith work as freelance runners. They do odd jobs for clients, jobs that at times fall on the other side of the law. They have worked for Jack Hoorn in the past. In fact he owed them money already when he offered them another job.
