El libro se configura como la historia de un alma que, a pesar de los sufrimientos físicos que debilitan el cuerpo, con todo su bagaje de dolor, sabe escuchar la naturaleza y contemplar el firmamento con los ojos soñadores de un niño. Francisco sabe escuchar y traducir las voces y los colores del mundo en sonidos de palabras. Los elementos de la geografía terrestre y celeste no nos son entregados por lo que son, sino que son como una "materia prima" para ser tratada y moldeada fabulosamente y el poeta resuelve el todo en transparentes y poéticas leyendas de la naturaleza, del cielo y de las horas, de los horizontes marinos y de las constelaciones brillantes en el cielo, de los grandes glaciares de la Antártida. Si los ángeles son los protagonistas indiscutibles de su poesía y todas las estrellas tienen la belleza de los ángeles, sus textos están poblados también por ballenas, algas, caballitos de mar, delfines, cisnes, bisontes bramando, pero también de claveles, rosas y girasoles.

The book is configured as the story of a soul that, despite physical suffering, and with the toll all that pain takes on the body, knows how to listen to nature and contemplate the firmament through a child's wondrous eyes. Francisco knows how to listen to the world's voices and colors and translate them into words. The elements of earthly and celestial geography are not presented to us for what they are but as "materia prima" to be worked and fabulously shaped, the poet making it all transparent, and nature's poetic legends, heaven, time, horizons on the sea and brilliant constellations in the sky, the ocean's great glaciers. While angels are undeniable protagonists in his poetry and all the stars are as beautiful as angels, his texts are also filled with whales, algae, sea horses, dolphins, swans, bison bellowing, but also carnations, roses, and sunflowers.
