They want to believe in a good end, but feel obliged by their pious conscience to postulate an eternal divorce. The present work changes the objections against all-reconciliation into arguments in its favor. After reading it, all religious neurosis-inducing fantasies of hell can be confidently dismissed. The doctrine of hell is not replaced by cultural Protestant relativism, but by a Christocentric, biblically based and hope-filled optimism that has the Risen Lord and his possibilities in mind.
