This book is an optional module within the scope of a European Master Course of study about European perspectives on social inclusion. Written from a European point of view and containing perspectives from Germany, Sweden and Hungary, this book focuses on concepts, theories and research dealing with the social context of drug use; concepts and theories as historically and culturally bound entities, multicultural aspects of different approaches throughout Europe, the introduction of appropriate working methods (prevention and treatment), and the development of a sensitive and human approach to the problems associated with drug use.
Das Buch ist ein optionales Modul im Rahmen eines europäischen Magisterstudiengangs zu europäischen Perspektiven sozialer Inklusion. Aus europäischem Blickwinkel verfasst und mit Beiträgen aus Deutschland, Schweden und Ungarn, beschäftigt sich das Buch mit Konzepten, Theorien und Untersuchungen im sozialen Kontext des Drogenmissbrauchs, Konzepten und Theorien als kulturabhängige Phänomene, multikulturellen Aspekten verschiedener Ansätze in ganz Europa, der Verankerung geeigneter Methoden bei Prävention und Behandlung, der Entwicklung eines einfühlsamen und menschlichen Umgangs mit den Problemen, die mit Drogenabhängigkeit einhergehen.
