Identical twins and cowboy bull riders Ryder and Roper have a lot in common. They're both proud, they're both stubborn, and they're both hurt by their jobs and by life more than they can handle alone.
At loose ends from a career-ending head injury, Ryder finds himself working as a personal assistant to Charles, who's lonely and sad after losing his husband recently, but also years ago, to an accident. Charles is the kindest man Ryder has ever met, and he works hard to give Ryder just what he needs: someone to take care of that's not his family, who can't reconcile who Ryder is now.
Roper can't understand Ryder's new life, and he's mad as hell about it, even as he struggles with his own injuries. Unlike Ryder, Roper needs a firm hand, and he finds that with Toby, a professor who understands just what Roper is looking for. But will Roper let Toby give it to him?
The brothers might be like night and day, or sweet and naughty, but they must both find new paths in life. Good thing they both have someone new to help them through it.
