This is because we have been dealing most, specifically, with natural fiber composites for more number of years, and we felt, our contribution to this part of the topic was much greater and more information that was based on our own experiences in dealing with natural materials could be shared. Indeed, natural fiber composites, in the recent years, have become important materials used in different industries such as automotive, aero- space, defense, medical, furniture, and the building and construction industries, and the need for developing tools and techniques of material selection for such materials has become more apparent.
