Hineni is not a performance.
It is an answer.
VOICES gathers more than seventy Jewish women across time-biblical figures, thinkers, rebels, artists, activists,
daughters, and witnesses-each speaking once, in her own register, without apology or reduction.
These are not archetypes or composites. They are specific women, located in history, language, and moral tension.
Each monologue stands on its own, written as an act of presence rather than performance. Together,
they form a shared field of moral, spiritual, and human attention.
Written for study, rehearsal, and ritual use, VOICES resists spectacle for its own sake. It does not instruct the reader
how to feel or resolve contradiction. Instead, it holds space for distinct voices to remain intact- sometimes lyrical, sometimes sharp,
sometimes unfinished-and to be heard without being consumed.
Not a chorus.
A gathering.
