Description

Tick has made a big mistake.

There's a prophecy. Companions, a magic sword, a path to saving the world. It has all happened before, and this time everything is laid out for the Hero to win forever.

Except Tick isn't the Hero. She's the Hero's little sister, and she stole the Hero's boat meant to sail between the scraps of their broken world. It won't go back, and now the Hero is stuck at home and Tick has to defeat the World Breaker before he can finish the job.

The sword doesn't work for her. The companions won't join her. No one will listen. She's a thirteen-year-old girl with a hologram cat, a pacifist robot, and an angry princess reject. She can't fulfill the prophecy.

Maybe there's another way.

But maybe the prophecy is the problem.
