Excel functions is used to save the time and effort of user. Excel by default comes with numerous functions to meet the requirement of user, sort data, calculate data by formula, manipulate data etc. Count, Countif, Sum and Sumif functions are very useful to handle most of the algebric calculations in an easy way.
