Connor: Things with Harper's family have become even more complicated. We're going to have to be very careful around them. In good news, Harper and Milo are developing a friendship. Every time I see them together, my heart flutters with hope, but as much as I'd love to see them get together, I won't pressure them.

Milo: Each time I meet Harper at the library, we get to know each other better, and I see another piece of her soul that sets my heart beating faster. Should I tell her how I feel? Should I wait a little longer? I can't tell if she feels the same way. I don't know what to do.

Harper: I love working at the Landing. People from all over the world visit it every day, and I have the most fascinating discussions with them. I love it. The shop I work in might be boring, but the people who come through the door make coming to work worth it every day.

With this being a place for tourists, why is it that someone from my past has to walk in and ruin the peace of Love's Landing?

A woman claims that a man recently assaulted a young girl. A man did attempt to SA a teenager, but I want to assure you that, despite what that annoying lady who works at the orange store claims, he did NOT succeed. It was still scary for the young girl even though she got away from him, though. This scene is not described in the book at all. All that is said is that it happened, and then Harper finds out the girl got away.

You should also know that there is physical violence in this book when a drunk man comes to the Landing. Our characters are going to help each other get through this.
