It's the most wonderful time of the year…or is it? All their lives, Melina Van Kamp and Asa Swan have danced around the ideal of being together. Through no fault of their own things always happened to prevent anything more between them but stolen kisses. The past couple of years have been extremely trying for them, while they've drifted further apart.

A Black Friday car accident injures Melina, Asa is the first on the scene. When she wakes with another man's name on her lips, Asa believes his dreams of a future with Melina are never going to happen.
