This is a book of letters I wrote to my daughters, starting when my daughters were toddlers and continuing for over thirty years. Writing "love letters" to your child is rich with positive long-term consequences. Many parents, like me, are not skilled at expressing their feelings. Writing expressive letters or notes-leaving them in your child's lunch box, under her pillow, in her backpack, taped to the steering wheel, wherever-can go a long way toward strengthening your parent-child relationship. What parents don't long to connect deeply with their children? Sadly, the pressures and demands of daily life conspire to stop this from happening.
