Chase Averstone made a bet that he would collect a kiss from Lady Adelaide Ducat. He didn't have much honor, but when it came to chasing skirts, he kept his word. Except that the chit was being stubborn. The more she refused him, the more he wanted her. How far was he willing to go to collect that kiss? He certainly wasn't willing to give away his heart. That was a mistake he'd already made and one he intended never to commit again.

Lady Adelaide Ducat hated the Viscount of Averstone with a passion that sang in her blood.
