Private Investigator Samuel Dixon unravels the mystery surrounding a missing father, and a series of murders discovered at Jacks Peak in Monterey, California. His client, a beautiful woman named Sarah Crowly, captures Dixon's heart, and this romantic involvement with her, soon causes problems for him throughout the investigation.
