De publicatie Z33 NU bundelt de tentoonstellingsprojecten die Z33 van oktober 2008 tot oktober 2010 heeft gerealiseerd. Meer nog dan een overzicht, biedt de publicatie een inzicht in de huidige werking van Z33. Waarvoor staat dit huis voor actuele kunst en hoe wordt dit concreet vertaald naar de uiteenlopende tentoonstellingsprojecten die er plaatsvinden? Aan de hand van elf projecten, willen we hier dieper op ingaan. De publicatie is opgedeeld in elf hoofdstukken waarin elk project afzonderlijk wordt belicht.
Rode draad doorheen de publicatie vormt een visietekst van Jan Boelen. Hierin gaat hij dieper in op de werking van Z33 als huis voor actuele kunst. Welke criteria worden er gehanteerd in het uitstippelen van een tentoonstellingsbeleid? Welke thema's komen er aan bod? Waarom wordt een bepaalde kunstenaar uitgenodigd om een soloproject uit te werken? Een aantal keywords lopen als een rode draad doorheen de werking van Z33. Het zijn bakens in het beleid waaraan ideeën en tentoonstellingsprojecten voortdurend worden getoetst.

The Z33 NU publication is a compilation of its exhibition projects during the period from October 2008 to October 2010. It is more than an overview, however, and gives the reader an insight into Z33's current activities. What does this centre for contemporary art stand for and how is this actually translated into the various exhibition projects that are currently taking place? We would like to examine this more closely by way of eleven projects. Which criteria are used in formulating an exhibition policy? Which themes are addressed? Why is a particular artist invited to develop a solo project? The thread that runs through Z33's activities comprises several key words. They are beacons in the policy on the basis of which ideas and exhibition projects are constantly tested.
The publication is divided into eleven chapters, each devoted to one of the projects. For each project, an introductory piece attempts to sketch a general outline of its content. This is f
