Description

When it comes to the Drow, who would enslave him once more, Kano will stop at nothing to prevent his past from dragging him back into the shadows. He battles not only to survive but also to keep Celestia at arm's length after a vicious attack leaves him poisoned and on the verge of death. He feels that a Goddess like her could never be safe with someone as shattered as him, and that he is not worthy of her.

However, Celestia has already been caught in the flames. She sticks by his side, desperate to get beyond his tough exterior, caught in the crucible of an unexpected connection. She finds herself fighting not only to save him but also to get to the guy who is buried beneath the walls he has constructed as the poison ravages his body and assassins threaten their peace.
