Description

The results of the present study concerning to impact of organic manures and bio- fertilizers on growth parameters, yield parameters and quality parameters have been summarized in this book. from the results obtained during the present investigation with different treatment combinations of organic manures and bio-fertilizers on growth, yield and quality of cabbage cv. Golden Acre, it is concluded that application of Vermicompost + Azotobacter + PSB significantly increased the height of plant, spread of plant, stem girth of plant and head girth of plant. Days taken to head initiation and head maturity minimum in Vermicompost + Azotobacter + PSB were maximum in Poultry manure whereas, duration of harvesting. Maximum net weight of head, head yield per plot kg and head yield per ha. q Yield was recorded with Vermicompost + Azotobacter + PSB application.So far as the quality characters of cabbage are concerned application of Vermicompost + Azotobacter + PSB exhibited highest staying of head, self- life and total soluble solids (TSS) are maximum and minimum were recorded under poultry manure.
