This book will be useful for the researcher working in the field of water chemistry. With increasing dependency on ground water for human use its quality become an important factor. The ground water quality of any given area depends upon parent rocks composition, retention time along with input from surface in form of leachate. This study was taken up with purpose to understand the ground water quality in term of water parameter including major cation, anion and trace metals. Spatial distributions of water quality parameter in study area were explained with the help of contour diagrams. Water quality of study area was explained by using geochemical diagrams such as pipers, ternary and mineral diagrams. Statistical analysis such as Factor analysis and correlation analysis were used to understand the factor controlling ground water chemistry.
