Larry tried his best to stay calm as he explained everything to the two so-called "government agents." The past few days had been... a lot.

A rift had torn open in the sky - not above some remote desert or secret lab, but right over the college campus. And not just anywhere on campus, either. It hovered directly above the Special Education department, crackling with impossible colors and humming like a broken star.

At first, everyone thought it was some kind of freak atmospheric event. Then one of the students reached out to it... and the rift reached back.

Reality bent. Physics took a personal day. And that student - quiet, overlooked, brilliant in ways no one had ever understood - suddenly had the ability to reshape the world like wet clay.

Larry threw his hands up as he reached the climax of the story.

"And then he just screamed- I'M FIRIN' MAH LASEEEEEER! - and the whole courtyard exploded into this giant beam of light! Trees vaporized! Statues melted! My eyebrows are still growing back!"

He slumped back in his chair, exhausted.

"So yeah," he muttered. "That's what happened. You wanted the truth? There it is."
