The purpose of this book is to study the role and effectiveness of law and regulation in relation to the problem of financial exclusion. The research was conducted through a comparative study of the United Kingdom and China, and focuses on whether law and regulation could fulfill a role in facilitating vulnerable consumers' access to basic banking services.
