The material showed the significant removal of Cr(VI) even in the presence of other anions like carbonate, bicarbonate, nitrate, phosphate, fluoride, chloride and sulfate. The experimental study offered a different approach toward the removal of Cr (VI) ions and can get down the Cr(VI) concentration to its allowable limit.
