Echo-reality is much different from the simulated realities they've seen before. The colonel is no longer the colonel. Rather, Tucker is now a lieutenant, and the child prodigy and whiz-kid, Buster Clark, is now the colonel. There are few things similar that Tucker recognizes. There are also new challenges, that Tucker must overcome to keep everyone from thinking he's gone mad.
Tucker's team now battles the core artificial intelligence entity. They must create a new conduit, to bridge them to this new section within the core. They need to do this to free Tucker.
