Waterville's profound effect on me was not just the good pickups or the close calls but also the strong sense of community I found here. My journey into Maine's taxi industry began in the early 1980s at Giroux Taxi, a place filled with unique characters. Pat, the owner of the Giroux cab, was not the sharpest tool, and his trusted mechanic, Bob, was a real piece of work. Their quirks and personalities added a unique flavor to this company.
