Songs about Work, Whimsy, Politics, & Love was inspired by my fear of death when I was hospitalized for a stroke. Until then they had been typed lyrics with chords penned above, or written on music paper in pencil or pen. Most had wine stains on them. It is simply the indecent outpouring of my Sturm und Drang of my life. Only the humorous song in Japanese was left out.
Sadly most working musicians cannot use this since a majority are illiterate of notation. Ginger Goodwin was performed by somebody once on C.B.C. radio and also on a coop radio station in Nelson, B.C. The rest need to be spread to the rest of the world. Just like you, on some days I wallowed in self pity and on other days I tried to change or save the world.
