As Chief Host, Celie is juggling celebrity judges, temperamental competitors, and a camera crew determined to capture drama.

The event becomes a disaster when the most revered local judge, Mama Lena, collapses from a near-lethal dose of poison administered in Celie's own kitchen. With the Bayou Bouffant branded a crime scene, the media circus erupts, and whispers point directly at Celie, whose recent spat with Mama Lena suddenly looks suspiciously like motive.

The Spectral Posse—Bunny, Gladys, and the Major—can only offer antiquated advice, trying to solve a high-tech media crime with Civil War logistics.
