The certainty that doing so would result in catastrophe is too strong. So, she does the only two things she can - pray and turn to her family. With their help, and the Lord's, can she reach Shawn's wounded heart and help him find the peace and joy only the Lord can provide? Standing firm in her faith isn't a problem, but guarding her already battered and broken heart very well could be.
