How can we give artificial intelligence a purpose?

Around 300 billion dollars will be invested in AI worldwide in 2025, almost twice as much as in 2023. With such huge investments, how can we not question AI? For what purposes will we use -or not use-this technological revolution? In what areas and for what challenges will it really be able to help us? The question is not what role humans will continue to play when it becomes ubiquitous in our daily lives, but how AI will help us make better decisions.

To make artificial intelligence a positive and useful force, we need to start by asking ourselves about the « mission » of this technology: What types of AI application are we willing to choose for our lives now and our societies in the future? What do we want to achieve for civilization through this revolution? These are the questions at the heart of this book.
