Description

Walter Tinner considers himself the world's greatest tenor -- an opinion that others might disagree with. When he comes to visit his dear cousin Amber and her husband, he discovers that she is part of a small-town opera society putting on a production of Pietro Mascagni's L'amico Fritz. Try as he might to get out of it, he winds up not only giving advice to the participants, but singing the lead role -- for an amateur company! If that weren't bad enough, the members of the opera society start being murdered. This is something Walter simply cannot stand for, so in this charming and suspenseful cozy he investigates the crimes with the help of lady detective and new girlfriend Wilma Banky. But will Walter solve the crime before the killer comes after him?
