"The Adventures of Bronty, Life Goes On", Volume VIII is mostly about friendships and the closeness of family. As it turns out the adult male knew Bronty's real mother. He had recognized Bronty by a birthmark he has behind his right ear. They become very close and Bronty calls him his Uncle. Young Bronty is being consumed by the gifts of his heritage. He is having difficulty accepting what is becoming. He is being pulled many different ways and is having problems coming to terms with it.
