Dr. Owen "the Ogre" Gagnon is infamous for his hospital hallway fights with human resources director Erin Andreas, so Erin laying down an obscene amount of money to win a date with Owen in the hospital bachelor auction shocks everyone. When Owen ups the ante by demanding Erin move in with him--immediately--everyone in Copper Point wants to know what's going on. Neither Erin nor Owen has any idea. All Erin wants is for Owen to distract his overbearing father while he handles a delicate internal investigation, but Erin's struggles with his father bring up shadows from Owen's past and send him into an overprotective frenzy.
