Danny is no ordinary donkey. While the other animals are content with farm life, Danny has a dream — not to pull carts or graze in the meadow, but to become the world's first opera-singing donkey.

His braying drives the barnyard crazy, and his first public performance ends in disaster (and flying tomatoes). Just when he's about to give up, Danny meets Maestro Meow — a mysterious, mustached cat and retired opera conductor.
