Journey with the Mardons' as they detail their experience of being inducted into the order and travelling to Rome to meet Pope Francis. The Mardons talk honestly about the difficulties of travelling while having physical disabilities, as well as about the mental health stigma still present in the Catholic Church. Luckily the Mardons returned home before the COVID-19 pandemic, but they speculate what it'll mean for Catholic traditions in the future. With a move towards limiting physical contact, it's possible Austin was the last Canadian to kiss the pope's ring.
