The objective of the research were to study the profile characteristics of the respondents, find out extent of adoption and knowledge level of organic farming practices, to ascertain the relationship with selected characteristics of organic trained and untrained farmers and their extent of adoption and knowledge level of organic farming practices, to determine the appropriateness of methods, time and techniques used for training, constraints faced during adoption of these practices and suggestions provided by organic farmers to overcome the above constraints.
