IT'S NOT ABOUT THE DESTINATION...During her travels, Elaina visits all kinds of places--hostile and welcoming, honest and dishonest. On this leg of her journey, she stops by a string of restaurants abuzz with rumors of an enigmatic country whose location no one seems to know, tries to give purpose to a peacekeeping organization in a city without any crime, helps track down a bloodthirsty killer in a place where the people have outlawed magic, and spends time in a kingdom that uses sleep as currency. Meanwhile, in the past, a young Fran travels with her teacher to the Land of Actors, where every day is a constant performance. As always, life is never boring for the Wandering Witch.
