I've been involved in Voice Out for years, first as someone looking for a place to call home, and then as someone who helped others like me. In all that time, there has been one constant in my life. One man who has made me feel safe even though he probably doesn't even know my last name: Rohan Saxena, or as she was known on the stage of Zimmer, Rowena Sequins.

When my homophobic stepbrothers started stalking me, Mama D insisted on moving me somewhere safer. What I didn't expect was to end up living with Rohan. I was scared of my stepbrothers, but I was also scared of what I might do if I was around Rohan twenty-four-seven.
