English summary: The open letter "A Common Word Between Us and You" (Amman, 2007) is a unique example of Christian-Muslim dialogue. Die Kernbotschaft von EGW ist, dass Frieden zwischen ChristInnen und MuslimInnen fur die Zukunft der Welt massgeblich ist. EGW mochte politische Veranderung mittels theologische Argumentation erzielen, denn friedliche Islam-West-Beziehungen konnen durch eine Verbesserung von christlich-muslimischen-Verhaltnissen erreicht werden.
