'You, Me & The Tree' is the true story of an Englishman who, after leaving the UK in 2005 to settle in The Netherlands, discovered the Amazonian psychedelic plant medicine ayahuasca and later psilocybin. Included is an account of what he learned about himself and the profound knowledge he acquired regarding the nature of reality as a result of taking psychedelic plant medicines.

With an academic background in geography graduating from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London in 1996 and Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2004, Paul Simpson is a British born Dutch engineer who currently resides in Leiden, The Netherlands. Having trained and worked in pharmaceuticals, aviation, teaching, GPS navigation, and automotive, in December 2021 he discovered the Amazonian plant medicine ayahuasca, and psilocybin two years later. What Paul experienced during his five psychedelic journeys over a three year period was so extraordinary, he felt compelled to put them in writing — this is his personal account (including over 170 illustrations, photos and diagrams) of each of his five psychedelic journeys and how psychedelics changed his view of life forever!
